Wheathampstead 1:1 Coaching

This facility allows players to practise any aspect of their game, with ample space for batting, bowling, wicketkeeping, and fielding.

There is a long run-up area for fast bowlers, and with a bowling machine available, we have all the tools in place to ensure players get the maximum benefit from each session. Bowling can also be delivered via side-arm and throwing, allowing players to focus on timing, technique, hand-eye coordination and shot execution.

Cricket Kit: The player will need a bat, gloves, pads, helmet and box. A thigh guard and arm guard is not necessary but recommended.

Clothing & Footwear: Training kit or cricket whites, along with cricket shoes or trainers (no studs or spikes).

Personal Items: Water bottle and a healthy snack, particularly for longer sessions, suncream & hat (summer).

Optional: Personal cricket balls and warm-up aids such as a foam roller, resistance bands, or a skipping rope.

You are very welcome to stay and watch the session. Toilet facilities are available on site.

There will be a bag of coaching equipment and cricket balls available for use during the session. If your player has specific training requests requiring particular equipment, please email JF Cricket Coaching directly (info@jfcricketcoaching.co.uk), and we will do our best to accommodate.

Off-road parking is available. The coach's black Skoda estate will be parked outside the entrance to the nets, you can use it as a clear reference point on arrival. Please park next to this car.

Coaching sessions must be cancelled or re-arranged at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled start time. Cancellations made within 48 hours may be charged in full and are not guaranteed to be rescheduled.
